It’s Easter in a couple of weeks. I made an Easter basket today and wrote a tutorial that you can download here if you want to make one yourself.
It is a quite easy pattern. You start with three circles; main fabric, batting and lining that you baste together and sew gathering stitches around the edge. You gather the stitches and cover the edge with binding. Make a handle and attach to the binding. It is very easy to adjust the size of the basket too.
Until next time Happy Sewing and take care!
This is so cute!! Thanks for sharing at my craft party at DIY Crush! I’d like to pin it but can’t find a pin button. Do you have one I can’t find?
Thank you, I don’t have one yet. I am new to blogging and everything around it.
Now there is a pin button on both pictures and post.
Yay! Thank you!! I chose this DIY as one of my favorites from last week’s craft party! Please stop by tonight at 7pm EST. to see it being featured! Hopefully you’ll share new posts with us! Always glad to have you!
It is a very nice basket. And I understand it is not difficult to made.
